Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice · MDCD Program Portal and Website
Effective Date: August 17, 2026
1. Who We Are and Scope of this Policy
Life Impact Partners, LLC, (“Life Impact Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates lifeimpactpartners.com and the Life Impact Partners program portal located at account.lifeimpactpartners.com. This Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with the portal, the website, consultant onboarding, participant enrollment, document execution, invoicing, payment reconciliation, program administration, and related tax-document workflows.
The Medical Device Charitable Donation (MDCD) Program and portal are by invitation only. General access to the website does not create eligibility, a right to participate, or a right to access nonpublic portal materials.
This Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice applies to website visitors, consultants, prospective consultants, invited program participants, authorized portal users, and other persons who interact with the website or portal. It does not replace any signed consultant agreement, participant enrollment package, confidentiality agreement, tax document, or other written agreement that applies to a specific transaction or relationship. If a signed agreement imposes stricter obligations, the signed agreement controls to the extent of the conflict.

4. Sensitive Information and Taxpayer Information
The portal may collect Social Security numbers and other taxpayer identification information when needed for participant enrollment, consultant onboarding, tax-document preparation, payment reporting, or legal compliance. We treat that information as sensitive and use it only for the limited program, tax, accounting, security, verification, and legal purposes described in this Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice.
5. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the following business and legal purposes:
- to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the portal and website;
- to review consultant registrations, verify consultant status, administer consultant accounts, prepare consultant tax forms, and process consultant payments;
- to receive participant information, prepare enrollment documents, route documents for electronic signature, generate package IDs and invoice IDs, track completion, and reconcile payments;
- to admit accepted participants to the applicable project LLC only after required documents and cleared payment are accepted;
- to prepare, maintain, and distribute tax-support materials, including Schedule K-1 materials, Form 8283 support, accounting records, and related substantiation materials;
- to communicate about accounts, signatures, payment status, reminders, completed documents, tax-document availability, service updates, and security events;
- to protect the portal, website, users, program, documents, intellectual property, and transaction records from unauthorized access, misuse, fraud, or abuse;
- to comply with applicable tax, accounting, reporting, legal, regulatory, audit, law-enforcement, and dispute-resolution obligations; and
- to enforce agreements, investigate suspected violations, preserve rights, and maintain program integrity.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising. As of the Effective Date, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not use advertising or analytics trackers on the portal or website.
We may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances:
- to service providers that host, secure, operate, authenticate, sign, email, invoice, process payments, or otherwise support the portal, website, and program;
- to project LLCs, internal administrators, accountants, attorneys, tax professionals, appraisers, payment processors, and other advisors or counterparties when needed to administer the program, process documents, prepare tax records, or complete authorized transactions;
- to consultants only with respect to participants associated with that consultant, and only in accordance with role-based access permissions;
- to government authorities, regulators, courts, law-enforcement agencies, taxing authorities, or other third parties when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, audits, investigations, or enforceable governmental requests;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, transfer, due diligence review, or similar business transaction involving Life Impact Partners, provided that the recipient is required to protect the information appropriately;
- with your direction, request, or consent; and
- as aggregated, de-identified, or non-identifying information that does not reveal personal details.
7. Service Providers and Processing Partners
We use vetted service providers to operate and secure the portal and website, maintain databases, provide authentication, host the application, obtain electronic signatures, send transactional email, issue invoices, process ACH payments, support payment reconciliation, and prevent automated abuse. Current service providers include Supabase, Vercel, Dropbox Sign, Resend, BILL, and Cloudflare. These service providers could change in the future.
Service providers are permitted to use personal information only as needed to perform services for Life Impact Partners, to maintain security, to comply with law, or as otherwise permitted by their written terms with us. We do not authorize service providers to sell personal information or use it for their own advertising purposes.
8. Cookies, Turnstile, and Usage Data
The portal and website use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies for session authentication, security, user login, fraud prevention, and portal functionality. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile or comparable tools to distinguish human users from automated traffic. As of the Effective Date, we do not use advertising cookies, behavioral advertising pixels, or third-party analytics trackers. If that changes, we shall update this Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice and provide any required notices or choices.
9. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Social Security numbers are additionally encrypted at the application level before reaching the database, with the encryption key held separately. Access to Social Security numbers is logged. Portal access requires multi-factor authentication, and signed documents are stored in private storage accessible only to authorized Life Impact Partners personnel and service providers with a business need.
No method of transmission, storage, or electronic processing is completely secure. For that reason, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we determine that a security incident requires notice to affected persons, regulators, payment partners, or other parties, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
10. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to facilitate the program, administer participant and consultant relationships, prepare and maintain tax and transaction records, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support audits, regulatory inquiries, accounting requirements, and tax administration.
Because applicable recordkeeping periods vary by record type, transaction posture, tax year, audit status, dispute status, and applicable federal or state law, Life Impact Partners does not apply a single fixed deletion date to all program records. Program records, executed documents, tax-support records, accounting records, consultant tax records, invoice records, payment records, and related transaction records may be retained through the applicable legal, tax, accounting, audit, limitations, and dispute-resolution periods, and for any longer period required or advisable because of law, audit, investigation, litigation hold, contract, accounting, or tax administration.
When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete, de-identify, archive, or restrict access to it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.
11. Your Privacy Choices and State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence and the laws applicable to Life Impact Partners, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate personal information, deletion of personal information not required for legal or program purposes, a portable copy of certain information, information about categories of personal information collected or disclosed, and the right to appeal a denied request. You may also have the right to opt out of sales of personal information, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Because Life Impact Partners does not sell personal information, does not use personal information for targeted advertising, and does not use automated profiling to make legal or similarly significant decisions about portal users, those opt-out rights generally will not be triggered by our current practices. Where applicable law treats opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as valid opt-out requests, we will process those signals in a manner consistent with our current practice of not selling or sharing personal information for targeted advertising.
To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the contact information in Section 2. We may verify your identity, request additional information needed to locate your records, deny requests that cannot be verified or that conflict with legal obligations, and retain information required for tax, accounting, security, legal, dispute-resolution, or program-integrity purposes. Where applicable law requires a response within a specific period, we will respond within that period or notify you of any permitted extension.
12. California, Nevada, and Similar State Notices
California residents may request information required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, and the California Online Privacy Protection Act, including categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed, and rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out where applicable. We have not sold or shared personal information for targeted advertising in the twelve months preceding the Effective Date. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18 through the portal.
Nevada residents may submit a request directing us not to sell covered information as Nevada law defines that term. Life Impact Partners does not currently sell covered information. If state law grants additional rights that apply to Life Impact Partners, we will honor those rights in accordance with that state law as notified.
13. Intended Users
The portal and website are designed for adult professionals, consultants, advisors, and invited adult program participants. The portal is not directed to minors, and access to the portal is limited to users who are 18 years of age or older who have legal capacity to use the Platform. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information through the portal from anyone under 18. If we learn that information has been submitted by or about a person under 18 without appropriate authority, we will address it in accordance with applicable law and our retention practices.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, service providers, security practices, or program operations. The updated policy will identify its effective date. Material changes will be posted on the portal or website, and we may provide additional notice when required by law or when the change materially affects how we use personal information previously collected. Section headings are for convenience of reference only and do not affect the construction or interpretation of this Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice.
